AVA - STREAM UNIQUE FILMS

            WITH YOUR LIBRARY CARD

AVA (Audio Visual Access) is a streaming provider that has been developed specifically for libraries, offering a unique selection of European and international arthouse films. Stream films from the comfort of your own home or on-the-go from any major device - simply log in with your library card, it’s as easy as that!

HOW TO BUILD YOUR OWN AVA PLATFORM

AVA follows a modular approach, where you can mix and match our different content and service packages to best meet the specific needs of your institution.

Each AVA platform is set up individually. You can choose between a variety of authentication methods, create your own URL and add a personal branding of your institution.

SETUP

AVA LIBRARY PACKAGE

Our main package offers a carefully curated selection of art house and festival films of all types and genres. Depending on your region “AVA Library” contains between 200 and 500 films.

CURATED FILM PACKAGES

Depending on the profile of your institution, the main package can be supplemented by further curated collections. You can choose between our tailored film packages with formal (e.g. music documentaries), regional (e.g. Latin American films) or content-related focus (e.g. films on migration).

ADDITIONAL SERVICES

We offer a variety of additional services, e.g. the translation of the interface into further languages, uploading your own content on your AVA platform or the acquisition of individual films by AVA “on demand”.

HOW MUCH DOES AVA COST?

AVA is completely free for your library users! The only cost they may incur is the price of registering for a library card. This should grant them full access to the service.

For our library partners, the cost of our service is broken down into the following sections:

- A one-time payment for the set up of your personalised platform

- License fees for your selected films

- Service costs for hosting, encoding, traffic and support

- Additional services i.e. inclusion of your own audiovisual content

Our costs are calculated based on the number of films in your selection and the number of users at your institution.

CONSORTIA DISCOUNTS

The licensing of an AVA platform is possible for a single institution as well as in a consortium. We offer consortia discounts depending on the number of participating institutions.

Consortia_prices.png

As we receive a lot of inquiries from small and medium-sized libraries, we have set up a registration form with which we support the libraries in Europe in forming a consortium for the licensing of AVA platform.

Interested libraries can register here and send us their requirements for content and desired technical implementation. We will try our best to match your library with other institutions in your region with a similar requirement profile!
